(EN) In Outer Paths, I set out to create a first-person space exploration experience focused on procedural planet generation. I developed a generator capable of randomly shaping terrain — mountains, plains, and underground layers — while manually assigning the surface layer of water, lava, or ice depending on the planet type. The next challenge was implementing a unique gravity system for each world, adding variety to exploration. The most enjoyable part was programming the spaceship, integrating all its animations, and building a destructible meteor system with chaos physics, bringing dynamism and tension to interplanetary travel.

(ES) En Outer Paths quise crear una experiencia de exploración espacial en primera persona, centrada en la generación procedural de planetas. Aprendí a desarrollar un generador capaz de definir aleatoriamente la topografía (montañas, llanuras y capas subterráneas) y asignar manualmente la capa superficial de agua, lava o hielo según el tipo de planeta. El siguiente reto fue implementar un sistema de gravedad propio para cada mundo, aportando variedad a la exploración. La parte más divertida fue programar la nave espacial, añadir todas sus animaciones y crear un sistema de meteoritos destructibles con física de caos, que añade dinamismo y tensión a los viajes interplanetarios.
